Ylva Haasum has been a PhD student in the geriatric pharmacoepidemiological group at ARC since the end of 2008. She is working with both SNAC-K and register based research with a special focus on drug use in nursing home residents and elderly people living in their own homes. Ylva has a Master of Pharmaceutical Science and an MSc in Molecular Biology.

Prior to joining ARC she worked in different types of pharmacies and also participated in several preparatory research courses, including the year-long Biomedical Research School in Umeå.
