Debora Rizzuto, is a PhD student at the Aging Research Center (ARC), Karolinska Institutet. She is a statistician with a strong interest in biostatistics and epidemiological methods. She defended her thesis "Logistic regression model for the evaluation of health service" at the Department of Statistics and Mathematical Economics, University of Pisa, Italy. She previously worked as a research associate at the Department of Physiopathology Experimental Medicine, Public Health, University of Siena, Italy. She has been working at the Department of Neurobiology, Care Sciences and Society, Karolinska Institutet since 2005 and started her PhD in June 2007. In her project, Debora is studying predictors and risk factors of human longevity; her main supervisor is Professor Laura Fratiglioni.
