Babak Hooshmand is a PhD student at the Aging Research Center, Karolinska Institutet, and works under the supervision of Dr. Miia Kivipelto. Babak is a medical doctor and in addition has a Master of Science degree in Public Health Nutrition. His major research interest includes the association of vascular risk factors with dementia, cognitive functioning, and structural brain changes with a focus on homocysteine and B vitamins in population based studies as well as clinical studies
