Anna received an MSc in Cognitive Neuroscience from the University of York in October 2006. Since then, she has been working in Lars Bäckman's group  at the Aging Research Center, Karolinska Institutet, where she graduated with a PhD in October 2011 and is now working as a post-doc. Her supervisor is Lars Bäckman.

Anna uses fMRI and Dopamine-PET to explore age-related changes in cortico-striatal pathways and their relations to executive functions and implicit learning.
